Sales Letter for Textbook Buyback Program





The Problem: The target audience is undergrad and graduate students, ages 18-26. College students are always looking for ways to save money. wants students to visit the buyback page to sell back any textbooks they are not using.

The Solution: There are so many things that distract students throughout the day already, so I thought to place how easy the steps were to sell back textbooks at the very top. I start off the letter by leading with the positive emotions of having money and all the fun experiences made possible because of that. I introduce the Textbook Buyback program as an easy process that will help students make money, thus giving them those positive emotions and fun opportunities. To better motivate students to take action now, I emphasize that the program takes little time and effort but has big rewards (e.g. going on a date with that special someone).
